I have done a research to the RCA library and found out interesting publications as shown below.

For these items, I’m interested in the design of the cover. From the use of non-traditional paper to the use of an image in a way that is not usually seen.

  • Embossed texts.

This publication is interesting since the front and the back are very similar and without texts. It became playful and stirred curiosity.

I also picked those which has other types of binding techniques. However, we need to also consider about how such technique could support in telling the narrative of our concept well.

The item is also interesting in how the layout of the images inside works, it prompted me to thinking about how we can utilise the space within a publication.

This publication is bilingual, English and Thai. You will discover different language when open from different side. This one inspired me into thinking about how the access point of the publication could shape our reading or experiencing journey.
